Board Games

Challenge Your Mind

New York Society of Play’s Board Game Club introduces kids to games developed by creators across the world. Play classics such as Settlers of Catan and Carcassonne, and explore new titles like Coup and 7 Wonders. Each week, players will learn a new game, and develop skills including negotiation, strategic thinking, and sportsmanship.

Logical Reasoning

Board games are one of the most funs ways your child can develop critical thinking and reasoning skills. As they play, they’ll be challenged to think outside the box, tackle problems, and exercise judgement.

Cognitive Skills

Playing board games exercises your brain! This type of play helps kids practice decision making, pattern recognition, long-term strategy, and focus.

Cooperation & Sportsmanship

Board games encourage kids to team up and work together toward a common goal. They also offer your child opportunities to practice coping skills and promote resilience when the game may not go their way.
